Every bouquet has its own story -
The particular way it’s arranged.
Different, unique flowers
With their own personalities
Finding a way to grow together.
Each flower has its own intricacies -
It’s own facets & features.
With a micro lens, you can see
The fine details carved delicately
Into each petal
By a Craftsman called Creator.
I imagine He closes one eye
As He forms it in the sun,
Carefully considering each
Blemish & wrinkle
With affection & love.
Radiant green stems extending up
Into tender white petals,
Glistening pink.
The dance of stems & petals & off shoots
Look chaotic upon first glance.
Yet intimate gazing
Brings order to the assembly.
Some reach high for the sky
While others tuck themselves
Away in the shadows.
Yet a Master Gardener
Knows what each flower needs -
When the loud, vibrant flower
Needs to pipe down
For a softer petaled one to speak.
Or when the vase should be rotated
So others can taste the sun.
He knows when the water
Should be changed -
Exchanged for fresh
To extend the life of the living
& ward off premature death.
His words of tender love
& affection over His beauties
Cause a fullness of life
To exude from each one -
Radiating the glory & splendor
Of the tender Master Gardener.
Opportunity to Sow into Kingdom Travels
Oh, how I love the mountains of Tennessee!!!
The Lord is sending me up to Maryville, TN next week to attend the Gatekeepers Conference at The Well - a ministry near and dear to my heart. I’m also going a few days early to go adventuring in the Great Smoky Mountains to hike Alum Cave Trail, which feels profoundly prophetic given my love for the secret place.
Every time the Lord sends me to Tennessee, I receive deep waves of healing and He pours out poems & writings. I’m full of joy & anticipation for what He will do!
